So it's been a long while since i've updated my journal here. Life is always busy, and I don't tend to spend much of it on the internet.
Although it doesn't mean that I can't use the web. I've been working on an official website for my work and on my Etsy store. I have some pieces up for sale and will be adding more later. Click the links if you want to take a look at my web-sight or my Etsy shop.
I haven't been able to do any classes like I had planed. But I've been picking up some commissions, and doodling enough.
Life still is going to happen, so I'll just do as much as I can to keep on being creative.
Inktober Is Here!
If you haven't heard of Inktober, that's ok. I knew nothing about it a few weeks ago myself. A friend had posted on Facebook about the Inktober challenge and I couldn't help myself but to plan to do it. I got geared up, made sure I had enough pens and inks, a fresh notebook, then all I had to do was white knuckle it till October first.
Don't worry, I was doing other art while I was waiting, but I didn't want to do any ink drawings (unless I was doodling) for fear of 'using an idea' before it's time.
Inktober is where you draw one ink drawing a day for the whole month of October. In the end, you will have 31 original drawings, have betting i
Questions, Careers and Feeling Amateur
Many things happen in the lives of an artist. And all here can agree that hearing that you can't use your creativity as your means for payment, that 'art' is not to be considered as your full time job, etc, is one of the worst things to say to an artist.
Don't worry, it's not family and friends that scream our passionate spirits to the ground. Moreover, it is society. I'm sure you all are thinking, "But the world is what is telling us to take charge of our lives, be ourselves, we are unique, etc."

et I ask you, why is it hard to artists to actually make art there career? The ones who 'make it' have to give away 8+ years of their time, e
Deleted Deviations...
So, apperently I thought I knew about the copyright laws in place for an artist. I was wrong.
After doing research on copyright placements and breeches of copyright, I realized that I wasn't protected or could hide behind anything.
So, I have removed Wolves Embrace because it violated those laws.
But I have a question,
If anything in photography isn't able to be used in art, where do you think about half the artists in the U.S alone have gotten their framework for their peices from? Cause they certainly didn't take the photos themselves...
And another thing, If we a being touchy about copyright, why is it all the manga and anime characte
Getting Started
Ok, so I am very new too all of this...
the computer files, edited photos, graphic design, all that.
I'm very much into drawing and painting, but I've never stepped it up. So Now i'd like to.
I first need some info. I'm researching as much as I can on my end, but I would love some help.
1) I'm trying to figure out commissions, what they really are, how to go about doing them, etc.
2) If I'm wanting to learn computer art, what program is good for me to start with?
Again, I would love some info, and thanks again for stoping by my page.
